This is a picture of handmade prostheses before a person could get proper treatment and a suitable prosthesis. Most prostheses were made of land mine and bomb shells.
Physiotherapy Gym
We were able to get a tour of the facility, which was pretty amazing. A Belgium NGO funds the Handicap International in Siem Reap. All services are free of charge to the patient. Handicap International provides a person with care, fitting of an orthosis or prosthesis, physical therapy, accomodations, food, social services, and follow-up care at home. The full rehabilitation process listed costs $180-$250. Currently they only have physiotherapists working there. There are also social workers and outreach workers that provide counseling, education, etc. The social worker works in areas such as improving a patients self-image and the outreach workers assist with home rehabilitation, house adaptations, referrerals for other services, and adaptive equipment adjustments. This sounds like OT to me
